Turn release notes into an action plan

Move from reading updates to testing the changes that matter to your Salesforce org.

By Vishal Verma · Reviewed October 5, 2026

Release readiness is a repeatable process, not just a list of new features.

  1. Review the official release center and notes for products your org uses.
  2. Separate required changes from optional enhancements.
  3. Assign an owner to each relevant item and check availability and prerequisites.
  4. Validate critical user journeys and integrations in a suitable sandbox.
  5. Prepare a short communication for users and support teams.
  6. Review your Trailhead profile for maintenance requirements and deadlines.

Use the official Winter ’27 highlights module as a learning entry point, then consult detailed documentation for your specific configuration.
