OmniStudio app missing in a trial org

App Launcher shows a similarly named integration app, but the expected OmniStudio tools are unavailable.

By Vishal Verma · Reviewed October 5, 2026

When this happens

App Launcher shows a similarly named integration app, but the expected OmniStudio tools are unavailable.

What to check

Trial provisioning, product entitlement, standard versus managed-package runtime, permissions, and app visibility can differ.

Troubleshooting steps

  1. Confirm the trial or developer org was created using the current learning module’s signup instructions.
  2. Identify whether the exercise targets standard OmniStudio or the managed-package version.
  3. Inspect available licenses, installed packages where relevant, and the required permission sets for that runtime.
  4. Review app and tab visibility for the user. A DocuSign-related app is not proof that all OmniStudio tools are provisioned.
  5. If the trial lacks the required entitlement, use the prescribed learning environment or contact the trial administrator.

Verify the result

The intended OmniStudio tools are accessible to the learning user in a compatible org.

Based on a community learning issue discussed with Vishal. Guidance reviewed October 5, 2026; org setup, module instructions, and release versions can differ. These steps are checks to perform, not a claim that your org has been tested.
